Sharing is caring

Happy Friday,

How was your week?

Mine was high in emotions. I said goodbye to a great man plagued with Parkinson's, followed by celebrating women during our second women's LEAD summit.

I must say, I didn't know how I would manage both, and yet I did, and all I saw was love.

It was impressive to see the togetherness in both.

In one, I saw a family coming together, remembering stories, moments, and laughter from a life, seeing loved ones reconnecting and celebrating life, and I'm so grateful for being there to support my man.

In the other, I saw women coming together, sharing stories, anxieties, and laughter while building their leadership tools box. I was also grateful to be there, offering how I'm rewriting my development plan in this professional reset in hopes of helping them write the first line of their blank page.

In both events, caring and respect were the key ingredients.

My friend Dominique Vallee shared the same during our fireside chat yesterday on the value of mentoring and coaching and what makes a great leader (like her!).

So, this week, I thought of sharing a few things about the power of vulnerability that have stayed with me since I discovered them:

The last one has some pretty cool sparks:

  • The thank you notes, wow

  • A quote: your leadership story is your life story

  • That we can't win in the market if we do not win with the team

  • His book, The Blueprint: 6 Practical Steps to Lift Your Leadership to New Heights

See you next week
